Born and raised in Toronto, Canada (a snowy wonderland known for churning out funny weirdos), Elyse now calls Los Angeles home (a sunny wonderland known for attracting funny weirdos). While she shines in any situation where she can don a mustache and wig, Elyse brings her comedic chops and creative talents to a myriad of work.

For almost nine years, Elyse was a comedic juggernaut and creative lead at the comedy gaming channel Funhaus (2015-2024), developing and appearing in thousands of hours of videos and live content, to earn the channel over 1.6 billion overall views. While sustaining the day-to-day of the channel, Elyse’s role grew to include other projects.

Notable among her credits: co-showrunner, host, and writer of 30 Morbid Minutes (2022-2024), an audio podcast exploring the morbid and macabre; co-host of Warner Bros. Entertainment's Popcorn & Shield podcast; and writer, showrunner, and performer of Arizona Circle, a 22-minute, 8-episode sketch series.

When video game writing came calling, Elyse answered, fusing her comedic sensibilities and gaming know-how to co-write Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed (2022), the newest entry in the beloved franchise. She is also the co-writer of the 2021 video game Arcadeggedon (2021).

From her beginnings in games media at GameTrailers.com, Elyse has over a decade plus experience across the entertainment landscape. She has been featured, and is a fixture and frequent collaborator at other channels and brands, including Dropout, Geek & Sundry, Smosh, YouTube, Dungeons & Daddies, Kinda Funny, Drawfee, RocketJump, Buzzfeed, Schmoedown, Comedy Central, IGN, Bleeding Cool News, Hyper RPG and more.

Elyse is also an author! In October 2020 Elyse’s first published book, A Night in Halloween House, a nostalgic holiday adventure for young readers, reached #1 in Children’s New Halloween Releases and Children’s Spine-Chilling Horror in Amazon Books.
